Bloomberg: US is trying to blackmail Turkey out of fear of Russia

MOSCOW, January 16 – RIA Novosti. US tries to pressure Turkey over Finland and Sweden joining NATO, fears delay will work to Moscow’s advantage, writes Bloomberg.

“The United States has warned Turkey that Congress may not approve the sale of fighter jets (F 16. – About. ed.), if Ankara does not ratify Sweden’s and Finland’s applications to join NATO,” he quotes a senior Turkish official who requested anonymity.
