MOSCOW, June 23 – RIA Novosti. BRICS leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine, supported the negotiations between Kiev and Moscow, the text of the Beijing Declaration of the XIV BRICS Summit published on the side of the Kremlin.
“We discussed the situation in Ukraine and recalled the positions of our countries expressed in the appropriate places, namely in the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly. We support negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
We also discussed concerns about the humanitarian situation in and around Ukraine, and expressed support for the efforts of the UN Secretary General, UN system agencies and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to provide humanitarian aid.
