MOSCOW, November 19 – RIA Novosti. German readers Die Welt criticized the statement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which he rejects the possibility of a “short-term truce” with Russia.
Many expressed the belief that the Ukrainian leader would start “begging” for a truce as soon as Western countries stop funding Kyiv.
“Of course, Zelensky rejects anything that could deplete his cash reserves. He will scream for a truce when the West stops the flow of money to the Ukrainian side,” one user commented.
