Scholz called the EU’s decision on Ukraine and Moldova great progress

BERLIN, June 24 – RIA Novosti. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called the EU’s decision on Ukraine and Moldova “great progress” and promised to support six Western Balkan countries in the process of joining the EU from Berlin.

“This is a great progress,” commented the chancellor to journalists off the beaten track. EU in Brussels decision to grant accession candidate status to Kiev and Chisinau.
