KHERSON, May 5 – RIA Novosti. The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (SVRU) has used its agents of influence among Polish citizens over the past ten years to shift society towards a neutral movement towards the Volyn massacre – the massacre of Poles by Ukrainian nationalists in 1943, a source in Russian law enforcement told RIA Novosti.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, SVRU has been attracting citizens to confidential cooperation since 2012 Poland for active work in the Moldavian-Transnistrian direction, but the effective use of this measure made it possible to expand the “area of possibilities” towards Poland.
“Through their family and friendly ties, the agents promoted a positive image of Ukraine in the highest political circles in Poland,” says the source.
