MOSCOW, July 7 – RIA Novosti. The European Union and Ukraine tried to suspend the participation of Russia and Belarus in the World Customs Organization (WCO), Ruslan Davydov, the first deputy head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti.
“The fact is that the European Union and Ukraine tried to issue a completely illegal statement calling for the suspension, limitation in any way of the participation of Russia and Belarus in the World Customs Organization,” he said.
“Thanks to our participation in the Council (organization) on 23-25 June, we managed to adopt a fairly balanced resolution calling on all parties not to destroy the customs infrastructure. We are calling for it. All parties are demanding not to impede the flow of humanitarian and vital goods, he stressed. Davydov.
