MOSCOW, January 24 – RIA Novosti. The European Union intends to extend the regime of trade liberalization with Ukraine as part of supporting the country’s economy, the agency reports. Bloomberg for Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission.

According to Dombrovskis, the EU intends to “expand these measures as they provide measurable economic support to Ukraine.”

The interim regime for the liberalization of trade between the European Union and Ukraine was adopted last year and is in force until June 2023. This decree introduces zero tariffs on certain goods from Ukraine, suspends the application of the entry price system, suspends all tariff quotas and ensures that even after its expiry, anti-dumping duties are not imposed on imports from Ukraine.
