BRUSSELS, January 3 – RIA Novosti. The European Commission intends to provide Ukraine with new macro-financial assistance in the total amount of up to €18 billion in 2023 in “foreseeable monthly” periods, EC spokeswoman Dana Spinan said.
“We will start giving predictable monthly tranches to Ukraine over the course of the year,” Spinan said at the briefing.
On November 9, the European Commission proposed a new program of macro-financial credit support for Ukraine in the amount of up to EUR 18 billion for 2023. Then it was coordinated by the authorities. The EC indicated that it would like to transfer the first funds from the European Union in January.
