BRUSSELS, January 23 – RIA Novosti. Permanent representatives of the EU member states at the meeting on February 25 will continue the discussion on the situation surrounding the idea of confiscating frozen Russian assets, according to the agenda of the meeting.
“Current discussion on the use of frozen assets to support the reconstruction of Ukraine,” reads the document.
The Permanent Representatives will also discuss “assuring accountability” for the conflict in Ukraine. The meeting is also expected to approve the planned six-month extension of economic sanctions against RF due to the situation in Ukraine.
