MOSCOW, May 18 – RIA Novosti. Volodymyr Omelchenko, director of energy programs at the influential Ukrainian Razumkov Center, believes that the government’s commitment to strict regulation of fuel prices has failed.
Earlier, Economy Minister Julia Swiridenko informed that the Ukrainian government had suspended fuel price regulation in the hope of saturating the market with gasoline and diesel oil and eliminating the hype, and would impose sanctions on fuel market participants who would inflate prices.
