Russian users will be able to continue to use the already installed versions of Microsoft operating systems or download new ones via VPN (technology that allows you to create a secure user connection to the network from different places – ed.), Denis Kuskov, general director, information and analytical agency TelecomDaily shared her opinion with RIA Novosti.
Earlier on Sunday, there was information in the media that Russian users cannot download the new operating systems Windows 10 and Windows 11. At the moment, the company Microsoft made no official statements, and support services did not reply to the agency.
According to Kuskov, there are several ways out of this situation. “The first is to live with the level of operating system updates that already exist. The second option is to install updates via VPN, ”said Kuskov.
