BERLIN, January 13 – RIA Novosti. The German government declined to comment on RIA Novosti reports about the possible resignation of Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht.
On Friday evening, the Bild newspaper, citing its sources, reported that Lambrecht (the Social Democratic Party of Germany, which is part of the ruling coalition) had decided to resign.
“We are not commenting on the matter,” said a spokesman for the German government.
