UN, October 21 – RIA Nowosti. The official representative of the UN Secretary General, Stephen Dujarric, drew attention to the “unhealthy rhetoric” heard since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, in response to a request to comment on the words of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, about the Russian language.

“From the beginning of this conflict, we have seen a lot of rhetoric that is, to put it mildly, unhealthy. Actions matter and words matter, ”Dujarric told reporters.

Earlier, Danilov said that the Russian language should completely disappear from the territory of Ukraine. Danilov said that the narrative about the necessity of understanding with Russian-speaking Ukrainians is very dangerous for the state. He declared that “let them go away from us, let them go to their swamps and croak in Russian.”
