MOSCOW, July 19 – RIA Novosti. According to the decrees published on his website, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed new heads of departments of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in five regions.
On page Vladimir Zelenskiy decrees on the appointment of new heads of departments were published SBU in Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Transcarpathia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The day before, Zelensky signed decrees dismissing the Public Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova and acting head of the SBU, Ivan Bakanov, for numerous facts of high treason among employees of two departments. The deputy head of Zelensky’s office, Andrei Smirnov, later explained that they had been suspended pending the investigation.
