September 26, FSB informed on the red-handed detention of the Japanese consul Motoki Tatsunori in Vladivostok. According to the FSB, the consul was caught red-handed after receiving information about the impact of the sanctions on the situation in Primorye. The Japanese side was protested through diplomatic channels, and the consul himself was considered persona non grata.
