MOSCOW, June 17 — RIA Novosti. Citizen N Alina Lipp, who is in Donbass and writes about the events taking place there, informed RIA Novosti by phone that she had been charged in her homeland with an article about «encouraging and approving criminal activities» against Ukraine, under which she was threatened with imprisonment.

Lipp introduces herself as a freelance journalist and has been covering the events in Donbas on her Telegram Neues aus Russland (News from Russia) channel since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, with approximately 165,000 subscribers. Lipp publishes reports on events in the Donbass, interviews with residents affected by Ukrainian shelling, and collects donations for his activities.

According to her confession, the aim of her work is to inform fellow citizens about the events in Donbas, where, according to her, journalists from large German publications almost never visit.
