BERLIN, January 26 — RIA Novosti. Sending new weapons to Ukraine will not end the conflict, to resolve the situation Germany or its partners should organize negotiations, said Bundestag deputy from the Left Party Sarah Wagenknecht.
On Wednesday, the German government announced that it had decided to transfer German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Germany intends to create two tank battalions. In the first stage, they plan to deliver a company of 14 leopards 2 type a6 from the resources of the bundeswehr.
