According to a survey conducted by the Teikoku Databank research center, more than 66% of Japanese companies are already feeling a negative impact in the light of the events in Ukraine, in particular difficulties in obtaining sufficient quantities of raw materials and goods.

The study was conducted from 15 to 25 April. 9061 companies took part in it.

Among the surveyed companies in particular, 50.4% of respondents stated that «it was difficult to obtain the amount of materials needed», and 66.3% of respondents said that this had «a negative impact due to the increase in prices», in particular for fuel.
