MOSCOW, August 31 — RIA Novosti. Twenty-eight Estonian companies are requesting a temporary exemption from EU sanctions against Russia in order to continue importing petroleum products from there, informs State ERR radio portal with reference to the Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsal.
In line with the restrictions imposed by the European Union against Moscow after the start of the special operation on Ukrainegovernments and other public authorities must terminate existing contracts with Russian companies by October 10.
«I am convinced that the Estonian public has a legitimate interest in knowing which Estonian companies have applied for temporary layoffs to continue trading oil with Russia,» Reinsalu said.
