MOSCOW, December 14 — RIA Novosti. Commenting on Kiev’s support for pro-Palestinian resolutions at the UN, Alexey Arestovich, an adviser to the head of the cabinet of Vladimir Zelensky, accused the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry of inertia, reports edition Times of Israel.
Earlier, the Fourth Committee of the UN General Assembly (Special Political and Decolonization Committee) approved a draft resolution entitled Israelaffecting the human rights of the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem. Palestinesupported by 98 countries, including Ukraine, 17 voted against and 52 abstained.
According to the newspaper, during a speech at the Ukrainian-Israeli innovation summit in Warsaw Arestovich said that Kiev’s vote for the pro-Palestinian resolution was a mistake that should be corrected. He noted that the position of Ukraine in the organization is related to the inertia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
