WASHINGTON, June 22 — RIA Novosti. US President Joe Biden is not currently proposing a ban on US oil exports to lower domestic fuel prices, but no options are still «out of the question,» US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Wednesday.
“The CEO from the outset considers a huge number of possible solutions (special operations RF on Ukraine) and the price increase that followed. And I don’t think anyone will stop ruling out any options. At this stage, the president is not proposing such a step, but he does not want to rule out possible options, Granholm said during a briefing at the White House.
Thus, the head of the US Department of Energy commented on the possibility of introducing a ban on the export of US oil in order to lower record gasoline prices inside USA.
