MOSCOW, October 14 — RIA Novosti. Europe without Russia is threatened with deindustrialization and the loss of astronomical sums of money, warns Hong Kong Asia Times edition.
In the most pessimistic scenarios, Europe faces de-industrialization, the loss of «quadrillion investment capital» and a sharp decline in living standards. «Add to that the precarious financial situation of many countries» EU and rampant inflation — and gloomy scenarios will seem entirely justified.
At the same time, when the Old World realizes its position, it will be alone: Russia will turn to the East, and USAthey will apparently withdraw into themselves and solve their own problems. «Europe will have no choice but to do the same,» concluded the Asia Times.
