CHISINAV, November 18 — RIA Novosti. The current Moldovan authorities hide their failures with anti-Russian rhetoric, former president Igor Dodon said on Thursday on one of the private TV channels in Chisinau.
“Moldova must remain neutral and promote it internationally… But (President) Maia Sandu and the ruling Action and Solidarity party are even praying that this conflict (in Ukraine) will continue because they cover up all their failures on this topic. For all Russians, what they do is easier than raising pensions and salaries to deal with tariffs,» Dodon said.
The politician stressed that Moldova should not be a bargaining chip in geopolitical games.
