HELSINKI, September 1 — RIA Novosti. Finland’s diplomatic missions in Russia will start a new visa issuing procedure on Thursday, limiting the number to 500 a day, 100 of which are tourist visas, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As noted by the head of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavistovisa restrictions introduced in September Russia they have a symbolic meaning — they show support Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees.
From August 30 Finland 37,312 Ukrainian citizens have applied for temporary asylum in connection with the Russian special military operation.
