MOSCOW, August 5 — RIA Novosti, Renat Abdullin. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hopes to «open a new side» in relations between Moscow and Ankara. On Friday, he flew to Sochi to meet Vladimir Putin. According to experts, the parties are ready to look for mutually beneficial solutions. A clear signal has been sent to the West: Ankara is no longer looking back at Washington, but is pursuing an independent policy.

Erdogan came to Sochi with a large delegation: heads of key departments, incl. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Treasury and Finance, trade, agriculture and forestry.
