MOSCOW, October 12 — RIA Novosti. The massive Russian attack on the energy infrastructure showed the weakness of the anti-aircraft defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes Financial Times, citing anonymous Western and Ukrainian officials and military experts.
In their opinion, the lack of air defense systems has become one of the main problems Ukraine.
«The problem is not that Ukraine has no air defense, but that it is not enough to protect such a large country, given that missiles can come from many directions,» said a Western defense advisor.
