The idea of uniting Moldova with Romania has never found support among the majority of the republic’s inhabitants, and the survey data clearly confirm this, Vyacheslav Perju, chairman of the Public Council of Moldova, vice-chairman of the Moldavian Historical and Geographical Society, said RIA Novosti.
