SIMFEROPOL, August 23 — RIA Novosti. The head of the regional national and cultural autonomy of Crimean Tatars, Eyvaz Umerov, called the international summit of the «Crimean Platform» gathered by the Kiev authorities a Sabbath and clownery.
The second international summit of the Crimean Platform, organized on the initiative of Ukraine, will be held online on August 23. Dozens of countries and international organizations will take part in it, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed his participation. Among the goals of the summit, the Kiev authorities mention the discussion of ways to «empty» Crimea. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, described the summit as an anti-Russian and extremely hostile event.
