Johnson was awarded the highest Ukrainian award for foreigners

MOSCOW, August 24 — RIA Novosti. The resigned Prime Minister of Great Britain, Boris Johnson, received the Ukrainian «Order of Freedom» during his last visit to Ukraine, says on the website of the British government.

Earlier on Wednesday, Agence France-Presse announced that Johnson had arrived at Kyiv on a visit to Independence Day Ukraine.

«During his last visit to Ukraine before leaving the post of prime minister Boris Johnson received Ukraine’s highest award for foreigners, the Order of Freedom, for «devoted support to Ukraine’s independence,» the statement read.
