MOSCOW, April 4 — RIA Novosti. The Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, did not rule out that the country’s authorities might consider closing the border with Russia and Belarus, informs the Lithuanian portal 15min.lt.
Earlier, the minister said that Vilnius was lowering the level of diplomatic relations with Moscow and expelling the Russian ambassador. It was noted that the decision was made against the background of the events in the Ukrainian city of Bucha, which Moscow considers to be a provocation.
«The discussions are ongoing, I cannot give an exact date. When they find solutions and what will they be, we will announce. A bit premature question» — the minister answered the question when the border with Russia AND Belarus and is there a dialogue about it.
