About 557,000 teenagers from Donbas and Ukraine who have become forced migrants are now in Russia, they need help to adapt to the new reality, said Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, at Teenagers 360 in Vladivostok.
“Working with teenagers who survived hostilities is not limited to centers. In Russia alone, there are now 557,000 displaced teenage children. We have to work with them, help them adapt to the new reality, ”said Lwowa-Biełowa.
She remembered that she had recently become the adoptive mother of a teenager with Mariupol.
