The United States has been in intensive contact with Volodymyr Zelensky’s European allies and circles in recent days, which prompted them to be more careful in commenting on the missile incident in Poland, writes Politico newspaper, citing anonymous American and European sources.
According to the publication, in the last two days during telephone conversations, senior representatives of the US government also demanded from their allies FOR THIS «refrain from categorical statements» until the official investigation into the incident is completed.
The differing viewpoints on the incident are one of the first major differences observed in the official’s rhetoric Washington and Kyivthe publication notes. According to the publication, the importance of what is happening is usually underestimated in US government circles, but the predicted slowdown of hostilities by Ukraine winter is fraught with the fact that the conflict «will last all winter» and the differences between the United States and Ukraine will only deepen.
