Chisinau, October 29 — RIA Novosti. Moldova is resuming international passenger rail transport between Chisinau and Kiev, informed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, Minister of Infrastructure Andrei Spin.
“After more than 20 years, international passenger rail journeys from Chisinau to Kiev, the world’s train, are resuming. The wagons are painted by Ukrainian artists and each represents a separate region of Ukraine, «Spinu wrote on his Telegram channel.
From November 6, 2022, the train of the regular Chisinau-Kyiv route will travel to Ukraine three times a week. The train is designed for 280 passengers, has seven carriages, five of which are compartments and two seats. The Kishinev-Kyiv railway line will be operated by the companies «Moldavian Railway» and «Ukrzaliznytsia«(«Ukrainian Railways«).
