UN, December 20 – RIA Novosti. Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, appealed to the secretariat of the organization not to succumb to pressure from Western states and not to agree to an «investigation» based on Resolution 2231 into the alleged use of Iranian drones by Russia.
Western countries have been actively arguing this lately Iran allegedly supplies drones to Russia for military operations on Ukrainestressing that such transfer is in violation of Resolution 2231. Moscow and Tehran such accusations were denied. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian he said that Tehran supplied the Russian Federation with drones a few months before the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
