Forced migrants from Ukraine going to Russia undergo a registration procedure, not a «filtering» procedure, according to representatives of Western countries, said Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s permanent representative to the organization at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
Earlier representatives USAAlbania, Great Britain accused Russia of allegedly carrying out «filter operations» on Ukrainians arriving in Russia or in territories controlled by it. According to Western diplomats, the inhabitants of Ukraine are forced to go to Russia.
“Of course, IDPs are registered at the border with Russia, and then help those in need to get to stationary temporary accommodation points. We draw the attention of those who try to replace the notions: Ukrainians and residents of the DPR and LPR coming to Russia undergo a registration procedure, not «filtering,» said Nebenzya.
