MOSCOW, December 3 — RIA Novosti. Senator Alexei Pushkov he commented a conflict between German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht and the country’s Finance Minister Christian Lindner, who rejected a request for the money to be immediately used to purchase new ammunition.
Politico had previously reported on disagreements in the German government. Earlier in the week, Lambrecht wrote a letter to Linder urging him to urgently transfer a large sum to purchase the missing arms. The head of the Ministry of Finance, however, rejected the request in a «cynical tone».
“Germany has problems not only with energy and football. Until recently, this country was considered a leader Europe. But this is something else…” Pushkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
