MOSCOW, January 28 — RIA Novosti. The madness that gripped Europe is similar to what it was before World War I, when all countries tried to fight each other, said the head of the Federation Council’s information policy and media interaction commission Alexey Pushkov.
«The madness that now grips the West is similar to that which gripped Europe on the eve of the First World War, when the parties unrestrainedly sought to fight each other. Now they irresistibly want to grapple with Russia, already openly declaring that they are capable of fighting her war,» Pushkov wrote on his telegram channel.
The senator added that «only the blind can’t see it FOR THIS is moving in full swing towards a direct military conflict with Russia, lifting all restrictions and limits on military support for Ukraine previously imposed by the alliance itself.
