The Russian diplomatic mission to the United Nations regrets that the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has become increasingly politicized and biased, turning a blind eye to the gross human rights violations committed by Ukraine, especially in the Donbas, said Ilya Barmin, representative of the Russian Federation at UN in Geneva.
“We regret to note the unprecedented increase in the one-sidedness and politicization of the OHCHR. Another confirmation of this is the mention of our country in yesterday’s speech by the Deputy High Commissioner and, at the same time, ignoring mass violations of human rights in Europe, USA and other countries of the «collective West,» Barmin said in a speech during a dialogue with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
