BERLIN, May 31 — RIA Novosti. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he supported the efforts of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to ensure grain exports from Ukraine.
«That is why it is so important that we are now stepping up our efforts to enable grain exports from Ukraine. The UN Secretary General is discussing with everyone involved and with a lot of support, for example from me and the President of France, how to achieve with Ukraine, Russia and other agreements on creating safe corridors, Scholz said at a briefing following the EU leaders’ summit in Brussels, which was broadcast on Welt TV.
