MOSCOW, January 31 — RIA Novosti. Since the introduction of the visa regime by Kyiv on July 1, 12 Russians have received Ukrainian visas, said Andrei Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
«According to my information, 12 visas have been issued to citizens of the Russian Federation since the introduction of such changes,» Demchenko said on the telethon.
According to him, «almost all» Russians who received visas entered the territory of Ukraine. «These were mostly women, children or elderly people who received this visa and actually went to Ukraine for humanitarian purposes — either for family reunification or to visit their relatives who are in our country,» he explained.
