MOSCOW, May 4 — RIA Novosti. Senator Alexei Pushkov decided on Telegram that Moldovan president Maia Sandu changed the rhetoric regarding the Victory Day celebrations, looking at the experiences of neighboring Ukraine.
Earlier, the Moldovan leader recorded a video in which she promised the country’s citizens to celebrate Victory Day, and also called on citizens to «not sow hatred and division». Sandu’s words sounded against the background of the scandal of the ban on wearing the St. «The opposition questioned the ban in the Constitutional Court. This position criticized the leadership of the Gagauz autonomy of Moldova and Transnistria Chisinau and they do not intend to prohibit it in their territory.
«Sandu maneuvers to make sure that stupid and cruel denials on Victory Day in Ukraine do not lead to good,» wrote Pushkov.
