MOSCOW, May 6 — RIA Novosti. British Ambassador Deborah Bronnert left the building of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs without explaining to journalists the reason for the visit, she spent about 30-40 minutes in the building, reports the RIA Novosti correspondent.
The diplomat arrived at the building in Smolensk Square on Friday around 17.30 Moscow time. The reason for the visit is unknown.
Many western countries, including the UK, have previously introduced several anti-sanction packages RF due to the situation in Ukraine. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin stated that the policy of containment and weakening of Russia is a long-term strategy of the West, and that the sanctions dealt a serious blow to the entire world economy. According to him, the main goal of the West is to worsen the lives of millions of people. He added that current events mark the line under the global domination of the West in both politics and economics. According to him, Russia does not intend to isolate itself, it cannot be strictly isolated in the modern world.
