MOSCOW, January 20 – RIA Novosti. The embassy in Washington said plans to move Russian business assets to Ukraine discredit the US as a notorious «fortress» of free enterprise.
Earlier, a senior US Justice Department spokesman, Andrew Adams, said he expects confiscated assets of Russian elites to be sent to help Ukraine.
“The White House has no hesitation in persuading Themis to serve its narrowly opportunistic interests. In this case, in the name of the declared «fight against the Russian threat» and support for the regime in Kiev. Such dangerous precedents only discredit the United States as the notorious “fortress” of free enterprise,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
