MOSCOW, April 17 — RIA Novosti. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission stated in an interview with the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag that the EU is still considering measures in the banking and energy sectors.
«We are still looking at the banking sector, especially Sberbank, which accounts for 37 percent of the Russian banking sector. And of course we are talking about energy issues,» said von der Leyen.
Von der Leyen added that w EU they are now «developing smart mechanisms» that will allow oil to be affected at the next stage of sanctions.
