In his opinion, the probability of an armed conflict in the Baltic Sea is not very high, but it does exist.
«I do not rule out that at some point Poland will worsen the situation on the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast. But we must understand that if Russia has even the slightest doubt that Kaliningrad will be taken over by NATO countries, Russia will use nuclear weapons and create a land corridor through Lithuanian territory. If the West is ready for it, let it make the situation worse, ”said Yevseev.
