TOKYO, May 24 — RIA Novosti. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that the Japan-USA-Australia-India Four-Party Security Dialogue Summit should confirm the alliance’s solidarity and discuss new areas of cooperation.
«Since our last meeting in September last year, an event has taken place that shakes the foundations of a global legal order based on the rule of law, which we all insist on. Russia’s attack on Ukraine challenges many of the principles enshrined in the UN Charter.
“I see a deep sense in the fact that, in today’s difficult conditions, we are demonstrating to the world community the solidarity of our four countries and a shared vision of the principle of a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Without cooperation with the countries of the region, there can be no successful cooperation between Japan, USA, India and Australia. We will confirm concrete progress in cooperation in many different areas as well as discuss new areas such as aid for regional measures against climate change, maritime monitoring, humanitarian aid, disaster relief, «added Kishida.
