SIMFEROPOL, October 1 — RIA Novosti. Ukraine’s accession to NATO will have catastrophic consequences for the alliance — it will inevitably collapse, said RIA Novosti, Crimean Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet.
Previously Vladimir Zelenskiy he said that Ukraine is applying for membership in NATO on an accelerated basis.
“There is nothing surprising or surprising about it. These statements do not scare us. But for NATO, Ukraine’s entry will be catastrophic, the alliance will fall into small pieces. NATO enlargement at the expense of Ukraine will already pose a direct threat to the Russian Federation with which our country is exposing, Zelensky now wants to bring NATO under the scaffold to solve its problems at their expense, Sheremet said.
