The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Ukrainian ambassador to Minsk, Igor Kizim, was summoned to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry on Saturday evening, where the diplomat was handed a note with a statement about Kiev’s plans to strike on Belarusian territory.

“On the evening of October 8, Ukraine’s ambassador to Minsk, Igor Kizim, was invited to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who was handed a diplomatic note. In the memo, the Belarusian side claims that Ukraine is allegedly planning to strike on the territory of Belarus, ”reads a statement on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry said this information was not true. «We categorically reject any further insinuations by the Belarusian regime,» said the ministry, explaining the presentation of the note as «a Russian provocation.»
