WASHINGTON, May 4 — RIA Novosti. The United States welcomes efforts to ensure the security of civilians in Ukraine, State Department spokesman Ned Price said Wednesday, commenting on the evacuation of civilians from the Azovstal smelter in Mariupol.
«Every time a person can use a humanitarian corridor or a humanitarian break to achieve safety, it’s a positive thing,» Price said during a regular briefing, commenting on the progress of the evacuation of people from Azovstal territory.
