MOSCOW, August 8 — RIA Novosti. The West has provided Ukraine with USD 11 billion, which is less than payments for supplies of Russian energy resources, writes FP magazine.
The publication cited the calculations of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, according to which the western partners promised to deliver Kyiv $ 31 billion. However, despite the increase in financial support at the turn of June and July, only one third of the promised amount was allocated to the Ukrainian budget.
«So far, the total amount of aid granted is around $ 11 billion, which is still an order of magnitude less than the amount Russia received for hydrocarbons over the same period,» the article reads.
